If I remember by correctly it was DBZ or Sailor Moon or was it Speed Racer?

mmm, it was either Dragon Ball, the original, or saint seiya, knights of the zodiac, or sailor moon. i remember i used to watch them all when i was 4 but don't remember which was first

I wanna say Vampire Hunter D. But I could be have been Science Ninja Team Gatcha Man (G-Force) or Voltron. I'm not exactly sure. I swear there was one before that, but i don't remember the title.

I remember seeing this add for anime on TV that showed titles such as "Record of Lodoss War" and "Akira". When I saw the clips for "Record of Lodoss War" I was really intrigued by it and found it for purchase at Hastings one day when I was 16 or so. I ended up buying it and have been a fan of anime ever since.

My first was Sailor Moon when it aired at 7am on USA on weekdays. I thought it was awesome from day one. Still love it.

If we go alllll the way back, I grew up surrounded by anime. Unico, Serendipity, Grimm's Fairy Tales, The Litt'l Bits, Speed Racer, etc. ^^
